Peranan Orang Tua dalam Menanamkan Pendidikan Agama Hindu Melalui Ajaran Tri Kaya Parisudha pada Anak

Abstract

Parents have an important role in shaping children's behavior so that they become better children. Parents have a big role and responsibility to look after, guide children, educate, provide basic knowledge, instill religious and moral values in children's lives and so on. This is where the role and responsibility of parents is needed in applying the teachings of Tri Kaya Parisudha. This study aims to determine the role of parents in instilling Hindu Religious Education through the teachings of Tri Kaya Parisudha to children in the Pagutan Asak Environment; parents' obstacles in instilling Hindu Religious Education through the teachings of Tri Kaya Parisudha to children in the Pagutan Asak Environment; efforts made by parents to overcome obstacles in instilling Hindu Religious Education through the teachings of Tri Kaya Parisudha to children in the Pagutan Asak Environment. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection techniques in the form of passive participatory observation, semi-structured interviews and documentation. The data obtained were then analyzed through data reduction, data display and drawing conclusions. To find out this, the researchers used the Behaviorism Theory and the Convergence Theory. The results of the study are (1) The role of parents in instilling Hindu Religious Education through the teachings of Tri Kaya Parisudha has been carried out well even though it is not optimal. This is because there are several indicators of the role of parents that are not carried out optimally such as the role of parents as facilitators and the role of parents in establishing communication which is still not good; (2) the obstacles of parents in instilling Hindu Religious Education through the teachings of Tri Kaya Parisudha to children in the Pagutan Asak Environment include internal and external factors both originating from each individual and environmental influences; (3) efforts made by conducting in-depth communication, such as telling the child with kind and gentle words, giving good advice and understanding and giving directions so that the child does not repeat the same mistakes.
